For Managers

What you get

IncomeHow much
Manager fee on revenue10–35% of every cleared receipt, for life
Purchase rightNo tokens at launch. After payback, buy 1% of supply a month for 15 months at a fixed strike
Robots paid forThe raise buys the robots through the vendor, or you bring robots you own for tokens
GrowthPool loan and premium sales, after payback
BorrowingAgainst your tokens, limit set by credit grade

Managers earn nothing from trading. Income comes from machines working.

The strike stays fixed. If the fleet grows MAV past it, buying below MAV is the reward for a job well done.

The manager fee

A flat share of every cleared receipt, 10–35%, set by BotBot at launch. BotBot prices each fleet internally from its running costs and market; the manager sees one flat rate.

Bring your own robots

Managers who already own robots can bring them into a fleet instead of buying through the raise.

  • Each brought robot starts at zero and earns its value in from its own signed receipts. See How brought robots are valued.
  • The manager gets tokens at the sale price as that value grows. If it falls while tokens are locked, the extra tokens are burned.
  • Those tokens are locked for 180 days while the fleet builds a record. After that the manager may sell at most 1% of supply a month.
  • Brought robots have no vendor escrow, so there is nothing to pay back for them. Growth unlocks from day one if the raise buys no robots.

How brought robots are valued

Each month, per robot:

value = ramp × lower of (cost cap, earnings value)

cost cap = list price × months left ÷ wear-out months
earnings value = average monthly receipts to reserve (last 3 months)
                 × months left × 0.3
ramp = months of receipts ÷ 6, at most 1
  • Cost cap: never worth more than a new robot, less wear.
  • Earnings value: what it has shown it can earn, cut to 30% for risk.
  • Ramp: full value only after 6 months of signed receipts.

Example: robot listed at 12,500, wear-out 48 months, 960 a month to reserve.

Inputs come from the chain: receipts are checked on-chain, each robot has one peaqID so it counts in one fleet only, and list price, wear-out and the 30% are set at launch. Anyone can recompute the value.

Your share of revenue (BYOR tiers):

Your share = fee + tier × (100% − fee)

Your tier is set by the share of the fleet's robots you bring. It sits a little under that share; the gap pays backers for funding the rest.

Why bring robots here. Sell part of the fleet to fund more robots, with no loan, no interest and no personal guarantee. If the fleet does badly, backers share the loss. A robot with steady signed revenue can also trade above its used price.

The catch. Revenue past your share goes to the reserve, which nobody withdraws. Holders get it back through sell-backs, staking rewards or the pool. Bringing robots pays when you sell part of the fleet, not when you keep it all.

What you can't do

  • Withdraw the reserve. The demo has a button that tries. It is refused.
  • Count revenue without signed receipts.
  • Borrow or sell new tokens before payback.
  • Sell brought-robot tokens in the first 180 days, or more than 1% of supply a month after.
  • Change the levy or fee after launch.

Your duties

  • Onboard each machine on peaqOS (peaqID and a small yearly bond).
  • Keep machines online and signing receipts.
  • Keep at least half the fleet reporting each day, or issuance pauses.
