Words We Use

Fleet. A group of machines run by one manager, with one token.

Manager. The business that owns and runs the machines.

Reserve. The fleet's cash, in USDC. Nobody can withdraw it. It only pays sell-backs and goes to approved yield.

Yield sleeve. The part of the reserve put in a lending market to earn interest. It still counts as backing.

Backing. Reserve + yield sleeve + the cash side of the fleet's pool + vendor escrow + robots at cost less wear, minus any pool loan.

MAV (Machine Asset Value). Backing divided by tokens held by people. Tokens sitting in the pool are not counted.

Premium. Market price divided by MAV. 1.20× means the token trades 20% above its backing.

Receipt. A record of one paid job, signed by the machine. It is what moves revenue into the reserve.

peaqID. A machine's identity on peaqOS, like did:peaq:1234. It holds the key the machine signs with.

Levy. The 2% charge on pool trades: 1% to the reserve, 1% to the platform.

Sell-back. Selling tokens to the reserve at MAV less 1.5%. The tokens are burned.

Growth escrow. Cash held to buy new machines. It is released only when new machines start signing work.

BYOR tier. The extra share of revenue a manager gets for robots it brings: 10% to 65%, by the share of the fleet brought.

Brought robots. Robots a manager already owns, taken into a fleet at book value for tokens.

Credit grade. A letter (AAA to B, or NR) from uptime, steady revenue, age and signed receipts.
